HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR THE CLINICAL NURSE
Dear nurses, Hope you had a good July 4th. I have tried to put together some helpful information for the clinical nurse, in the image above. They include the following: - When administering medications ; Did you remember to check for a history of allergies to medications on your patient? - Did you document the medications you gave? - The trash can is full and overflowing. Did you notify Housekeeping? - The needle disposal is full. Did you notify the right department to have it changed? - Needles should never be recapped. There is the danger of being stuck!
