UNDERSTANDING THE WORK OF MUSCLES, BONES AND JOINTS ( PART 1 ) - QUIZ QUESTIONS

In the image above, there are people taking a stroll
in the park. Although no one stops to think about
each action that is taken, muscles, bones and joint
are at work.

The human body is made up of muscles, bones and
joints of different sizes. Bones and joints have very
important work to do. They work in unity, to provide
support for the body, as well as protecting vital
organs.

Bones

Inside the human body, there are bones of all
different shapes and sizes. It is interesting, that
blood cells are produced by bone marrow, which
is inside the bones. Calcium is essential for
maintaining strong bones.

The skull is made of solid bone. It protects the brain
from injury. If the brain is injured and swelling occurs,
a device known as an EVD may be placed in the brain.

The doctor uses a drill to tunnel through the skull and
put in an EVD.
