WHY THERAPY

Rehabilitation is a necessity for patients who have sustained
injuries of one kind of another. Depending on the nature of the
injury and the diagnosis, therapy will be ordered by the doctor.

The duration of therapy will depend on the severity of damage
and the patient's ability to make progress. Speech, occupational
or physical therapy may be ordered.

Above is an example of a patient who had bilateral amputations.
She is receiving physical therapy/ instructions how to use a
prosthesis and gain independence.
