Diabetes Insipidus ( DI) should not be confused with Diabetes Mellitus.
Diabetes Insipidus is caused by a lack of ADH ( antidiuretic hormone).

Patients who develop DI, dump large quantities of dilute urine.
If left untreated , dehydration may occur. DDAVP is used to correct
