PACU ( POST ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT)

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft ( CABG )

This procedure is pronounced cabbage, but is not a virtual cabbage.
A  CABG is usually done to improve the heart’s circulation in the
patient with coronary artery disease. An artery or vein
is taken from another part of the body and used to reroute blood
to the heart. This procedure bypasses the blocked vessel.
